Talent 1 Media has teamed up with Oasis USA and Pathlight Studios to produce a public service announcment as a part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness about Human Trafficking. On January 8th, 2009, Oasis USA/ Stop The Traffik held a press conference and had an open invitation to Chinese media outlets throughout Southern California. After a welcome and introduction by Paul Hong-Lange, Director of Oasis USA, the PSA was presented by Daniel Shiao, Chinese Outreach Worker of Oasis USA. Please check out the PSA below! A panel discussion was held after the screening. The panel included John Wuo, Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Arcadia, Captain Gioai of the Arcadia Police Department, Monica Carrasco, Chair of the LA County Unity Coalition, Reuel Kim, President of Pathlight Studios and the Director of the PSA, Kimerly Agbonkpolor, LA Metro Task Force on Human Trafficking, and the Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Walnut, Mary Su.
