It seems that human trafficking grows every single day.  The issue, the problem, the complicated mess continues to grow larger and “overwhelming” is a complete understatement.  It seems that as it gets larger, the media brings more attentiont to it.  We have seen literally 1000s of more articles on human trafficking than ever before.  Every month outdoes the previous.  It is no wonder, however, that the media brings up the topic.  Afterall it is the 3rd largest organized crime in the world.  It would appear that we only give attention to a “problem” after it is too late.  Luckily there are 1000s of people willing to do something about it.  The news continues to be ‘bad news’ but has woken up and motivated individuals to fight this injustice.  Even if the issue seems incredibly large, keep in mind that EVERY LIFE COUNTS.  You might not change the entire world but perhaps you have the power to save a life.
